Randolph, an early childhood education major at Susquehanna, is a 2011 graduate of Immaculate High School in Danbury and the daughter of Tom and Justine Randolph. The Dean's List recognizes students who achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or higher out of a possible 4.0 for the semester. To qualify, students must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours Susquehanna University is a selective, residential liberal arts college in Selinsgrove, Pa.

Rye Swimmer Named All-New England, Vies For Nationals RYE, N.Y. --  Charlotte Nixon of Rye is one five swimmers from Connecticut College who has qualified to represent the team at the Division III NCAA championships. Nixon, a freshman, swam a leg on the 200-yard medley relay team that finished second at the conference championships. Nixon joined teammates Sarah Nappo, Anna Peterson and Sam Pierce on the relay. Rough Go On The Roads In Fairfield County On Friday FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- An accident at 4:30 p.m. on the northbound Merritt Parkway between exits 36 and 37 in New Canaan slowed the Friday afternoon commute. The two-vehicle accident closed the left lane. There was no estimated duration on how long it would take to remove the wreckage, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.  Traffic was also slow on Interstate 95 northbound from Stamford to Bridgeport, although no accidents were reported as of 4:45 p.m.
