Motorists planning on traveling over the Throgs Neck Bridge this weekend may want to plan on taking an alternate route. The MTA announced that there will be closures on the Bronx-bound lanes this weekend at the Throgs Neck Bridge, beginning Friday, Sept. 28 and spanning through Monday, Oct. 1 in time for the morning commute. There has been a change of plans, leading to delays for motorists in Fairfield County on a busy Norwalk roadway sooner than expected.
