Authorities have named the 40-year-old passenger who was fatally struck by a tractor-trailer on I-476 in Salford Township on Friday morning, Dec. 8. Sean Terwilliger of Allentown was riding south in a utility truck when he and the driver pulled over to secure the load near mile marker 36.4, state police said. They parked on the west shoulder and Terwilliger was standing off the roadway at the rear of the truck, according to investigators. A man has been identified following a head-on crash involving entrapment, the Northern Londonderry Township Police told Daily Voice on Tuesday. Anthony Loewy, 65 of Palmyra, was driving north on Gravel Hill Road in North Londonderry Township when he was struck head-on by Jim Ondesko, 28, of Dauphin, township police told Daily Voice. Authorities have identified the driver who died after crashing in Coaldale Borough on Thursday afternoon, Dec. 7. Nicole Oplinger, 42, was near the intersection of West Water and West Miner streets around 3 p.m. when she lost control of her car and struck multiple trees, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. A jackknifed tractor-trailer caused major delays on US Route 30 on Friday afternoon. The tractor-trailer leaked fuel onto US Rt. 30 East by Exit: PA 462 - Lincoln Highway, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications. The jackknifing happened around 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 1, dispatchers explained. No injuries were reported, but a HazMat crew remains on the scene for "spill control," dispatchers said. One woman is dead and two other people are wounded after a two-car crash in Pocono Township early Monday, Nov. 27, according to authorities.
