POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Jane Patricia Lukacs, of Poughkeepsie, died Friday, Nov. 25. She was 84.
She was born June 4, 1932, in Quaker Hill, the daughter of the late Everett and the late Julia (Pinte) Lee. She married Steve G. Lukacs June 12, 1952, in Poughkeepsie. She was predeceased by her husband in February 2002.
She was employed by Macy's in Poughkeepsie as a sales clerk. She was a local resident all her life. She was a graduate of Wappingers schools, a member of St. Martin dePorres Church and a member of the Millbrook Seniors.

Before retiring, he worked as the director of general services for Bergen County. He wore many hats throughout his life. He was chief of staff to state Sen.
