Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

The crash occurred at about 3 p.m. on Friday, May 10 on Route 29 northbound near Route 129, according to the NJDOT. One left lane of two lanes was closed, 511nj.org reported. There were no injuries, according to a Trenton police spokeswoman.

The crash occurred at about 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 10 at Flyatt Road in Tabernacle Township, according to New Jersey State Police. There were minor injuries reported. The crash remains under investigation. All lanes were closed and detoured northbound, 511nj.org reported earlier.  All lanes were closed southbound, the NJDOT site said.

Truck Veers Off I-287 In South Plainfield (Updated) A vehicle veered off of Interstate 287 in Central Jersey, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 7:30 a.m. on Friday, May 10 northbound near Exit 4 (Durham Road) in South Plainfield, according to New Jersey State Police. Troopers responded to a motorist aid, said Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron, a State Police spokesman. Upon the trooper’s arrival, a Freightliner box truck ran off the road and into a ditch, he said. There were no injuries reported, Lebron said. The crash occurred at about 4:10 p.m. on I-295 northbound near Exit 32 (Haddonfield Berlin Road) In Cherry Hill Township, NJDOT reported. Based on a preliminary investigation, two vehicles collided, according to New Jersey State Police. One of the drivers sustained minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital, State Police said.
