Parents Of Train Victim Dirks Will Move To Chappaqua CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- The parents of a Chappaqua man killed in Tuesday's collision between a Metro-North train and a vehicle will move to the region from the Spokane, Wash., area to assist his family, according to a News 12 report. Robert Dirks, 36, was one of five passengers killed on the Metro-North train when it collided with a sport utility vehicle driven by Ellen Brody of Edgemont. The SUV stopped on the tracks, and a fiery explosion engulfed the first car of the train, where Dirks was riding. Brody was also killed in the accident. Picture Of Tappan Zee Bridge Adorns Obama's Budget TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- A picture of the Tappan Zee Bridge is the cover photo for President Obama's federal budget for the 2016 fiscal year, released by the Office of Management and Budget. A picture of the bridge was also used by President Obama for a speech he delivered in May about infrastructure.  Work started last year on a replacement bridge. It is expected to be finished in 2018.
