Third Victim Found In Stamford Shooting That Killed One

STAMFORD, Conn. — A third victim has come forward in the fatal shooting in Stamford Friday night, Capt. Richard Conklin said.

The third victim was grazed by a bullet to his back, and was treated at Greenwich Hospital, Conklin said.

Police believe one suspect opened fire on a group of people hanging out in front of Cut Masters barbershop on Richmond Hill Avenue around 10:30 p.m., a previous release from the department said. The suspected shooter then got into a car, described as a dark Honda, and left, the release said.

The deceased victim, Jeffrey McNeil, 25, was shot in the torso, the release said. The second victim, 44, of Stamford, was shot in the leg and needed surgery, but expected to live, the release said.

Cut Masters was the scene of another shooting taking place in January of 2012 where two people were injured.
