137 Grams Of Fentanyl Seized In Reading: Authorities
A "home check" on North 9th Street in Reading led to the confiscation of more than 100 grams of fentanyl on Thursday, May 2, authorities said. Reading police and state parole officers said they recovered: Three handguns, including two with defaced serial numbers A "ghost rifle" 137 grams of fentanyl Four fentanyl pills Six ecstasy pills Marijuana Charges are pending, they added.

Suspect Sought For Stabbing Luzerne County Man In Chest: State Police
Troopers are looking for a man accused of stabbing a Freeland Borough resident in the chest. Authorities said Jahvile Davis-Boyd stabbed the victim at 317 Washington Street on Sept. 17, 2021. He is wanted for felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor simple assault, state police said. Anyone with information can call 1-800-472-8477 or submit a tip to PSP. Tips that lead to an arrest could result in a cash reward.

New York Woman Tried To Smuggle Drugs Into PA Prison, Troopers Say
A Bronx woman is in state police custody after authorities said she tried to bring drugs into a Pennsylvania prison. Natasha Santana, 42, was trying to get the drugs to an inmate at the State Correctional Facility Mahanoy in Frackville, PSP said in a release. She was arrested without incident, they added. Court records show Santana posted 10 percent of her $10,000 bail and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for May 9.

One alleged gunman and one bystander were hospitalized after an exchange of gunfire in Pottstown on Thursday night, May 2, police say. Authorities were called to the corner of Beech and North Evans streets around 9:20 p.m. for reports of gunfire, authorities said in a release. The body of a 70-year-old kayaker who'd gone missing earlier in the week during a fishing trip along the Schuylkill River earlier this week has been recovered, authorities said.
