Suspect Punched Victim In Face, Fled The Scene In Allentown: Police
State troopers are looking for a suspect in an Allentown assault. Authorities said the pictured man walked by the victim, punched him one time in the face, and walked away. It happened near the Sherwin Williams at 1900 Catasauqua Road on April 27, state police said. The suspect was wearing black pants and a green sweatshirt with white lettering on the front and back. A Philadelphia man was convicted after he pulled a gun on a teen that he was dating at an Atlantic City casino, authorities said. A judge found 28-year-old Rahiem Paige guilty on Wednesday, May 8 of several gun charges, including certain persons not to possess a firearm and unlawful possession of a handgun, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. State police are looking for tips in a "suspicious fire" that killed three people in Lynn Township more than 25 years ago. Linda Ann Howland, David Wayne Jones, and their 3-month-old daughter Leah Michelle Jones died when their home caught fire on April 26, 1998, according to PSP. Police Investigate Broad Daylight Killing In North Philadelphia
A 19-year-old man was shot to death in West Oak Lane on Wednesday afternoon, May 8, Philadelphia police say. Authorities said it happened on the 7100 block of Limekiln Pike at 3:45 p.m. The victim was shot multiple times and taken to Albert Einstein Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries before the hour, according to officials. A Reading man is charged with multiple felonies related to child pornography, the Berks County District Attorney's Office says. Twenty-eight-year-old Kristopher W. Tanner was arrested in Colchester, Vermont on Wednesday, May 8, authorities said. A 33-year-old woman was taken to the hospital for treatment after shots rang out in Bristol Township on Tuesday night, May 7, police said in a release. Authorities received an anonymous call about gunfire near Norton Avenue and Ellwood Avenue around 10:45 p.m., township police said.
