Stamford's Chris Hansen Is Leaving NBC

STAMFORD, Conn. — Stamford’s Chris Hansen, a Dateline NBC correspondent who gained fame with “To Catch A Predator,” will be leaving the network after more than 20 years, a TV Guide report says.

The seven-time Emmy Award winner will be pursuing hosting and executive producing opportunities, the report says.

No reason was given for why Hansen’s contract was not renewed, but several weeks ago Radar Online published photos of him kissing former mistress and fellow reporter Kristyn Caddell. Their relationship was first made public two years ago.

Hansen lives in Stamford with his wife, Mary Joan, and their children.
