Atlantic City Teen Sentenced For Having Unlabeled Gun: Prosecutors
An Atlantic City teen will spend time in state prison after police found him with an unlabeled gun, authorities said.
Angelo Williams, 19, was sentenced on Thursday, Apr. 25 to three years in state prison, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced in a news release. He pleaded guilty to second-degree possession of a handgun without a permit on Thursday, Mar. 7, 2024.

Winning $1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold In NJ
Someone in New Jersey won big bucks in the Saturday, April 27 Powerball drawing.
According to the Powerball website, a player in the Garden State won the $1 million prize, along with someone in Georgia, in the Saturday, April 27 Powerball drawing.
The winners matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were 9, 30, 53, 55, and 62. The red Power Ball drawn was 23.
Lottery officials are expected to announce where the tickets were sold this week.
The jackpot rolls to $164 million in the next drawing, held on Monday, April 29.
Lisa Paxia Lillo's Tomato Pies Obituary
Lisa R. Paxia, of Eastampton, died on April 15 surrounded by her loving family, according to an obituary published by Knotts Colonial Funeral Home. She was 51 years old.
She owned Lillo's Tomato Pies in Hainesport, which she and her husband, John, founded in 2021, her obit said.
Upon her death, she donated at least three organs saving others' lives, one of her three sons said in a Facebook post.
Born and raised in Trenton, Lisa was a resident of Eastampton for the past 20 years. She was a retired registered nurse and an entrepreneur.

Felon Admits To Selling Heroin, Fentanyl, Meth In South Jersey: Prosecutors
A convicted felon admitted to selling heroin mixed with fentanyl and methamphetamine throughout Atlantic County, authorities said.
Matthew Lynch, 33, of Galloway Township, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, Apr. 23 to second-degree possession with the intent to distribute heroin/fentanyl. The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced the guilty plea in a news release on Friday, Apr. 26.

A Monmouth County man was accused of intentionally setting fires on the same property over the past five months, authorities said.
Albert Caporaso, 49, of Hazlet, was arrested on early in the morning on Friday, Apr. 26, the Hazlet Township Police Department said in a Facebook post. He was facing charges for several arsons since Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023.
