STAMFORD, Conn. — The Mill River Park in downtown Stamford was abuzz with those on their lunch break -- or those simply catching some rays -- Friday afternoon.

Among the parks visitors were Stacy Nelson, Diane Hubert, Vivian Feliciano and Kerin Tutein, who were enjoying the view from one of the park's many benches.

Aside from benches and wide-open lawns, the revitalized green space will also soon be home to a carousel , the Daily Voice previously reported.
