Bobby Cribbin Fires Perfect Game in Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. – Stamford 12-year-old Bobby Cribbin pitched a perfect game for RMS Construction in a 2-0 win against Abercrombie last week in the Springdale Little League.

Cribbin fanned 13 in the six-inning no-hitter. Catcher Alex Demarino caught the classic, while shortstop Jason Palmer, second baseman Javier Peters and first baseman Erik Bannister made fine fielding plays in back of Cribbin, who set down Abercrombie on 83 pitches. The Little League pitch limit is 85.

Cribbin helped himself with a single. Jason Palmer, Isaac Cadigan and Alex Demarino also had singles, and Eric Ciocci slammed a double. Justin Palmer also reached safely.

RMS Construction, managed by Kevin Pierce, is 9-7 and in second place in Springdale. RMS meets undefeated Clairol at 6:45 p.m. Monday at Drotar Park.
