Pierre-Louis, a linebacker who played in high school at King in Stamford, had his best year with the Eagles. He earned first team honors in the Atlantic Coast Conference, scored his first touchdown with an interception return against Virginia Tech and helped BC return to postseason play. He also won the Walter Camp Award as the Connecticut Player of the Year.
Pierre-Louis started since his freshman year at BC (7-5), which made huge strides this season under first-year coach Steve Addazio. The Eagles went 2-10 last season. Pierre-Louis finished second on the team in tackles with 104. He had 10.5 tackles for a loss and six sacks. For his career, Pierre-Louis started 43 games. He missed several games in his sophomore and junior seasons due to injury.
At King under Norwalk’s Dan Gouin, Pierre-Louis was the state Player of the Year in 2010 and helped the Vikings win two Fairchester Athletic Association titles.
A NFL draft website projects Pierre-Louis as a fifth round draft pick in the spring as an outside linebacker. He might also be considered as a strong safety for the NFL.
