STAMFORD, Conn. -- Seniors at stamford's Trinity Catholic High School have received early college acceptances to 60 different colleges and universities across 19 states and the District of Columbia.

The list of prestigious institutions to date includes Duke, Fordham, Michigan State, Providence, Rutgers, Stonehill, Tulane, and Villanova universities. The graduating Class of 2016 have been awarded over $1.6 million in scholarships toward their college educations. 

“Trinity Catholic High School is committed to giving our students the best education and opportunity to succeed," said Joseph Gerics, principal of Trinity Catholic High School. "We are proud of our seniors who have already been accepted to some of America’s best colleges and universities, and are looking forward to even more great news about our students college acceptances in 2016.
