The band earned the honor following a successful audition for the NY Mets entertainment division and by selling 350 tickets to the game.

A portion of each ticket sold by the band is given back to the band program as a fundraiser. The band program opened this fundraiser to all clubs and teams of the SHS community, as an opportunity to raise money for its specific clubs.

With the help of the entire SHS family, the band sold more than 560 tickets to the game.
