Democrats Gregory Adams, Daniel Brakewood and Luis Marino were elected along with Republicans Gene Ceccarelli, Bart Didden and Francis Ferrara.

Democratic Mayor Dennis Pilla was elected last fall. Brakewood, Ceccarelli and Marino are incumbents, while Didden is a former trustee.

They defeated two independent candidates, Alex Chavarria (Port Chester Pride) and Alejandro Payan (Port Chester Forward).

Eight candidates competed for six open Board of Trustee seats in the Village of Port Chester, including the four incumbents.

Trustee Joseph Kenner didn't seek re-election and another seat has been vacant since the unexpected death of Trustee Sam Terenzi in January.

Port Chester has had a “cumulative” voting process since 2010 after a court order that aimed to be more inclusive of the village’s Hispanic population. Under cumulative voting, residents can vote six times but can cast multiple votes for one or more candidates.

Trustees serve three-year terms at an annual salary of $5,200.

The village offered an "early voting" option at Village Hall on Grace Church Street through Saturday.
