In the video, a man in a hooded sweatshirt can be seen approaching the front door of the house to see if it’s locked. According to police, the keys to the car were inside the unlocked vehicle.
“This is not typical and definitely concerning,” the department posted on Instagram. “Lock your house doors and set residential alarms. Report suspicious activity and protect your property.”
Anyone who may recognize the suspects or who has information regarding the stolen car has been asked to contact investigators at the New Canaan Police Department by calling (203) 594-3500.
