Leonardo Vazquez, of Hartford, was arrested Thursday on a warrant following an investigation by the Connecticut State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force.

As a result of the search warrant, detectives seized a large amount of fentanyl packaged for sale, crack cocaine, marijuana, numerous items related to narcotics sales and packaging, and one 9mm handgun.

Vazquez, who is on parole, was turned over to the custody of the state Department of Corrections. Narcotics and firearms charges are pending.

Another person, Danielle Cusano, 28, also of Hartford, was also taken into custody and charged with sale of more than an ounce of heroin, possession of a controlled substance or cannabis, illegal possession of a large capacity magazine and risk of injury to a child.

Cusano was released after posting a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Hartford Superior Court on Sept. 13.
