STAMFORD, Conn. -- Three men were arrested in Stamford after a special organized crime unit seized nearly a quarter pound of cocaine and a half-pound of marijuana on Thursday night, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Members of the Narcotics and Organized Crime squad observed a drug deal go down near the PetSmart on West Avenue. Gonzalo Stiechel, 29, of Norwalk; Alvardo Betancur, 49, of Greenwich; and Jhonatan Cataneo, 26, of Norwalk were all taken into custody during the bust, the Stamford Advocate reported.
Police also had a previous warrant out for Stiechel, who reportedly sold a pistol to an undercover cop earlier in January, the Stamford Advocate said.
