State Police Seek Person Of Interest, 27, In Fire Set At Parents' Home

State Police are asking the public for help in locating a man wanted in connection with a fire at his parent's home.

The fire broke out around 2:37 a.m. Monday at 242 West Road, in Marlborough, said state police detectives with Troop K.

Following an investigation, detectives said they are looking for the homeowner's son, Reid Keener, 27, in connection with the blaze.

Keener, who has a history of mental illness, is described as being 6-foot 2, 180 pounds, and was last seen wearing a copper-colored shirt, grey board shorts, and flip-flops."

"He is wanted in regards to a warrant out of Troop K and is a person of interest in a fire set at his parent's house on West Road in Marlborough," state police said in a message to residents. "Use caution, Keener has a history of mental illness, but it not known to possess weapons.”

Fire crews were on the scene for about an hour before the fire was under control.
