STAMFORD, CONN. -- Stamford police say they don't know what led to a slashing attack Sunday in Stamford that left one woman with cuts on her body and another woman facing an assault charge, the Stamford Advocate reports.
Briana Palmer, 22, of Stamford, is being held on $50,000 bond on first-degree assault, police told the Stamford Advocate.
Police were led to Palmer by a 21-year-old female victim, who said she was in the parking lot along Atlantic Avenue early Sunday morning when the Palmer attacked her, the Stamford Advocate reported. Police said the victim was cut with a knife or a razor blade in several places and was treated and released from a local hospital, according to the Stamford Advocate.
