STAMFORD, Conn. -- A woman who hit a pedestrian with her car Tuesday in downtown Stamford was ticketed on a charge of failure to yield to a pedestrian, according to the Stamford Advocate website.
Stamford police issued a ticket to a driver who struck a pedestrian who was crossing a city street.

He was taken to Stamford Hospital with a non-life-threatening head injury, the Advocate said.
