STAMFORD, Conn. – Stamford police believe two gunmen were likely firing at each other early Sunday morning on Fairfield Avenue near Young Dixon Way, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Police told the Stamford Advocate that a shots fired call came in around 4:30 a.m.

Authorities found shell casings from two different guns onsite, reported the Stamford Advocate.

The investigation is ongoing, although police say there is little to go on, the Stamford Advocate reported.
