Authorities were alerted and shut down a part of Myano Lane after the man reported his skin became irritated after touching the envelope, the Advocate said.

The Stamford bomb squad ended up sending the envelope for analysis to the Forensic Crime Laboratory in Middletown, reported the Stamford Advocate.

The man told authorities the couple were in the process of getting a divorce, and no arrests have been made, the Advocate noted.
