STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford Police have charged a West Side man with firing his weapon in public on Dale Street, Thursday afternoon, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Police said the unidentified man, who obtained a pistol license three months ago, told officers around 3 p.m., that he was firing a warning shot, according to the Stamford Advocate. No one was injured, said the Stamford Advocate.
Officers recovered one slug from a nearby porch where someone was sitting at the time of the shooting, added the Stamford Advocate.
