Stamford Man Faces DUI Charge In Hudson Valley

With law enforcement agencies cracking down on drunk, drugged and distracted driving, several local residents were among nearly a dozen who found themselves charged overnight.

Local residents charged were:

Orange County

On Thursday, Aug. 30, State Police in Highland arrested Michelle Davis, 47, of Newburgh, for DWAI. She was traveling on Parr Lake Drive in Newburgh when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by drugs and was subsequently arrested.
On Thursday, Aug. 30, State Police in Montgomery arrested Adrian Forester, 40, of New Windsor, for DWI. He was traveling in Newburgh when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
On Friday, Aug. 31, State Police in Montgomery arrested Frank Punzone, 47, of Monroe, for DWI. He was traveling in Newburgh when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

Dutchess County

On Friday, Aug. 31, State Police in Highland arrested Selemiah Oremo, 23, of Poughkeepsie, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9W in Lloyd when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

Fairfield County

On Thursday, 30, State Police in Middletown arrested Stephen Calderon, 32, of Stamford, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 211 in Wallkill when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
