Stamford Man Faces Charges After BB Gun Incident Injures Onlooker

STAMFORD, Conn. -- A 20-year-old Stamford man is facing criminal charges after police connected him to a BB gun incident Tuesday night in Stamford that left a bystander with an injury to his eye, the Stamford Advocate reports.

Przemyslaw Babinski, of Bouton Street West, is being held on $25,000 bond on several charges, including second-degree assault, carrying a dangerous weapon and reckless endangerment, the Stamford Advocate says.

Police got a complaint about a man firing what looked to be an assault rifle in the Hope Street parking lot of Donut Delight at about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday. After being hit in the eye, the bystander was treated and released at Stamford Hospital, the Stamford Advocate reports.
