STAMFORD, Conn. -- Police said a Stamford man was caught Thursday night with a check forgery operation inside his car, according to a story in the Stamford Advocate.
He is suspected by police of being involved in a fraud ring, reported the Stamford Advocate.
Last month, Bank of America complained about a man depositing forged checks in local ATM machines and withdrawing the money from various accounts before they were found to be fake, the Stamford Advocate said.
