STAMFORD, CONN. -- A convicted criminal was apparently so stoned when he stumbled into a Stamford pizza joint that he alarmed employees there and left his car keys on the counter, police told The Stamford Advocate.
Timothy Brown, 40, of Virginia, ended up with more than the pie and a beer when he left the eatery and was confronted by police who had been called by the worried workers, The Stamford Advocate reported.
Police said that Brown, who has a long history of gun-related convictions, was carrying a loaded clip of ammunition and had a 9mm handgun in his car, The Stamford Advocate story said.
After being treated at a local hospital for whatever drugs he had allegedly ingested, Brown was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, among other things, The Stamford Advocate reported.
