An accused drug dealer is facing felony charges after being busted on I-95 in Westchester with Oxycodone and marijuana following an investigation into a car crash in Pelham over the weekend.

New York State Police investigators were dispatched to a stretch of I-95 shortly before 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 3, where there was a report of a crash that involved property damage on the interstate in Pelham.

Police said that while interviewing the driver, Horace Goodlett, 49, of Providence Forge, Virginia, as part of the accident investigation, they had developed probable cause to search the vehicle. During the subsequent search, troopers found 3.2 grams of marijuana and 24.1 grams of Oxycodone.

Goodlett was arrested at the scene and charged with a felony charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance in a non-original container. Following his arraignment in the Town of Pelham Court, Goodlett was remanded to the Westchester County Jail. He is due back in court on Aug. 9 to answer the charges.
