STAMFORD, Conn. -- A shopper at Lord & Taylor in Stamford was arrested after police said he charged more than $6,692 in clothes, jewelry and gift cards on counterfeit credit cards, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Tyrone Boswell, 38, of Brooklyn, N.Y., made at least three trips in to the store and back to his car in the store's lot on Thursday, Feb. 4, before being stopped by police, said the Stamford Advocate.
In all, police seized 26 of the cards, the Stamford Advocate reported. Boswell was charged with 14 counts of charging under $500 on a revoked credit card, 26 counts of second-degree forgery and third-degree larceny, added the Stamford Advocate.
