STAMFORD, Conn. -- A 32-year-old dancer for hire is facing criminal charges in connection with a Jan. 3 fight at a Stamford club, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Maria Toribio-Francisco, of Yonkers, N.Y., is accused of smashing a beer bottle over the head of another dancer at Café Luna, according to the Advocate.
In the fight, which involved three other women, the dancer suffered a wound that required seven stitches, bruises to the eye and knee and scratches to her chest, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Toribio-Francisco is charged with second-degree assault and conspiracy to commit second-degree assault, the Advocate said. Police arrested two women at the club that night, the Advocate said.
