The woman left her 2007 Toyota Camry running while she went into the check-cashing place on Woodland Place near Pacific Street around 10 a.m. Friday, police said. When she returned, it was gone, police said.

Sgt. Simon Blanc said store surveillance video showed a hooded black male with a backpack walking around the vehicle. Hen then jumped behind the wheel, made a U-turn on Woodland Place and drove away, Blanc said.

Police are investigating.
