The victims contacted police when their 2017 BMW X3 was discovered missing at around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4. The car had been unlocked and the keys left in it, police said.
Police used the vehicle's GPS system to find it in Waterbury at 7:45 a.m. on April 5. Local officials recovered the small SUV in good condition, police said.
