A Stamford boy was hit by a car near his school bus stop after he ran into traffic, according to Stamford Police.
Sgt. Joseph Jarrett said the initial investigation shows the 11-year-old boy was hit at the corner of Daskam Place and Glenbrook Road.
The boy, who was not in a crosswalk, was transported to the hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries, police said.
The driver remained on scene.
The case remains under investigation.
