STAMFORD, Conn. -- Sandra Kay Meadows, a resident of Stamford, died Thursday, March 24. She was 64.
She was born July 2, 1951, in Mullens, W.Va., to the late Joseph and Audrey Hall Meadows.
She was a graduate of The Traphagen School of Fashion and was employed with Karl's Chevrolet for a number of years.
She is survived by her sister Linda M. Meadows; her brother James A. Meadows; a niece, Ari J. Meadows; a nephew, James A. Meadows II; a great-nephew, Chandler J. Meadows; four aunts, Annie Meadows, Ada McBride (Frank), Juanita Ball and Carol Johnson (Freddie); and many cousins and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday followed by a service of celebration at 11 a.m. at Bethel AME Church, 150 Fairfield Ave. Stamford. The Rev. Robert A. Jackson Jr. will be officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Grove Cemetery, Easton.
Services were entrusted to Downer Funeral Home.
