STAMFORD, Conn. – Neil Rennie, a resident of Stamford, died Monday, Feb.29. He was 81.
Rennie served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After his service, he worked for Gristedes Supermarket in Stamford for over 35 years.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Rennie; his children, Neil Rennie Jr.; and Patricia Pokorny; grandchildren, Lisa, Frankie Pokorny, Christopher Pokorny, Tyler Pokorny, Chase Rennie, Brooke Rennie and Cora Couch; brother Frank Rennie and sister Jacqueline.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to the Stamford Hospital Bennett Cancer Center, Stamford Hospital Foundation, 1351 Washington Blvd., Suite 202, Stamford CT 06902.
