Louise V. Sabia, 90, Of Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. – Louise V. Sabia, a lifelong resident of Stamford, died on May 20 at The Villa at Stamford. She was 90.

Sabia was born on June 15, 1925 to Joseph and Carmella Rosa Gatti, graduating from Stamford High School.

She was a longtime member of the Hubbard Heights Women’s Golf Association and Sacred Heart Church.

Sabia is predeceased by her parents and husband James, and is survived by five children, Annette of Winstead, James and wife Michele, Joseph of Boca Raton, Fla., Fred and wife Michelle of Winchester, Va., and David and wife Dina of Sandy Hook, 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours are on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 8 Schuyler Avenue in Stamford.

A mass of Christian burial will be on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, located at 37 Schuyler Avenue in Stamford.

Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, located at Rockrimmon Road in Stamford.
