A New York native, Costa graduated from the New York High School for Printing and was a longtime commodity broker on COMEX.
He is survived by his wife, Donna (Meehan) Costa; three children, Jennifer Anne Costa; Joseph Costa and Michael Costa; brother, Patty Costa; and sister, Rosanne Tholke.
Costa was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary (Frangione) Costa.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Friday at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien.
A prayer service will be conducted at noon Friday at the funeral home.
