STAMFORD, Conn., --  As power restoration work continues in Stamford and throughout the state two days after a storm that pounded the area with high winds and driving rain, examples of nature's destructive power are visible throughout the area.

Eversource reports that 244 customers are still without power in Greenwich as of 12:30 p.m.
