FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — A massive fire ripped through a 54-unit condo building in Norwalk on Monday afternoon, causing widespread damage and leaving over 100 people homeless .

Even as residents rallied to help those affected by collecting needed items and money , Investigators said the fire was caused by carelessly discarded smoking materials . Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported.
