A total of $5,000 came from Pet Pantry Warehouse, including $500 from the New Canaan store location sales that day. In addition, several partners raised money at the event: Venture Photography of Greenwich contributed $1,125, Baskin Robbin New Canaan contributed $150 and Melt Mobile contributed $100. Other donations raised at the event totaled $100.

Event attendees enjoyed a Scooby-Doo jumping castle, caricature drawings, professional pet portraits, live music, contests, live demonstrations, face painting and all attendees took home dozens of premiere pet food samples and informational brochures on quality pet care. Joan and Tyler Pratt from Greenwich, attended the event for the first time with their Beagle, Penelope.

"Pet Pantry sponsored a fabulous event,” said Joan. “It was heartwarming to see dogs being adopted and children smiling and laughing. It was my first time attending this event and will definitely go back next year! There's something for everyone who loves dogs. I left with a bag full of great samples a very special caricature of my dog by Bill Hernandez."

“This year’s event was unlike last, we really saw the community come together more than ever and we received a great response from attendees across Fairfield and Westchester Counties. Several pets were adopted, we exceeded our fundraising expectation and we brought on new partners that have already pledged their support again next year,” said Adam Jacobson, vice president at Pet Pantry Warehouse.
