The summer renovation project was managed by church member's Herbert Doenges, John Stancik, and Rod Aspinwall, and included the involvement of the New Canaan Historical Society. Officials said the renovation work maintained the historical value of the church, 5 Oenoke Ridge, New Canaan.

Church leaders are inviting all to celebrate the renovation along with the installation of the Rev. Derrick T. Fallon as pastor during an event set for 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9.

St. Michael's offers weekly 10 a.m. worship every Sunday, with Sunday School starting at 9:15 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
