Alive @ Five Concerts To Rock Stamford Stage

The Alive @ Five concert series kicks off Thursday at 5 p.m. when Black Taxi takes the stage in Stamford’s Columbus Park.

Headlining the first concert of the summer is Third Eye Blind, the San Francisco-based band that produced several hits in the late ’90s and early 2000s, including “Semi-Charmed Life,” “Never Let You Go” and “Jumper.”

Black Taxi is the winner of Stamford Downtown’s Bandapalooza Battle of the Bands. Also rocking the Alive @ Five stage will be Reverse Order, which has performed at Bamboozle and the Warped Tour.

The price to attend concerts in the series is $10. After 7 p.m. no one under age 21 is allowed into the concert. The lone entrance is located on Main Street just east of Clark and lower Summer Streets.

Concert-goers cannot bring coolers, glass containers, alcohol, dogs, pets, video cameras or tape recorders. Large bags may be subject to police search.
