Time Running Out On Winning Lottery Tickets Sold In Connecticut

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- The Connecticut Lottery is still waiting for two $100,000 top prize winning ticket holders to step forward and claim their prizes for the Cash5 drawings held on March 18 and Aug. 3.

The winning tickets were sold in Fairfield and Hartford County, respectively. The Cash5 winning numbers drawn on March 18 were: 7 - 9 - 13 - 19 - 33. The Fairfield County winner has only until Wednesday, Sept. 14 to claim their $100,000 top prize before their ticket expires. 

The Cash5 winning numbers drawn on Aug. 3 were: 5 - 12 - 18 - 29 – 33. The Hartford County winner has only until Monday, Jan. 30, 2017 to claim their $100,000 top prize before their ticket expires. All draw game tickets expire 180 calendar days from the draw date. 

Someone also purchased a $1 million prize-winning Powerball ticket in Tolland County for the Feb. 20 drawing, which will expire on Aug. 18 unless it is claimed by that date. The winning numbers drawn on Feb. 20 were: 11 - 12 - 15 - 16 - 54 and Powerball number 25.

To timely claim the prize on or before a ticket’s expiration date, go to a Connecticut Lottery retailer or Lottery Headquarters, where the retailer or the Lottery will validate your ticket through their terminal. Read more at this link.
