McDonald will be closing out this summer’s series, performing on Aug. 15. The other headliners include: The Wallflowers on June 20, The Mavericks on June 27, Ryan Cabrera on July 11, Wynonna & The Big Noise on July 18, Bret Michaels Life Rocks 2013 on July 25, Matt Nathanson on Aug. 1, and Howie Day on Aug. 8, the Alive@Five page on the Stamford Downtown website said.
The opening acts have not yet been announced.
The concert series will start June 20 and continue throughout the summer with concerts every Thursday beginning at 5 p.m. at Columbus Park. There will not be a concert July 4.
Here are a few rules for the concert series:
? There will only be one entrance on Main Street, by lower Summer Street.
? Admission is $15, children 12 and under are free.
? Those under 21, photo I.D. required, must arrive by 7 p.m. and will not be allowed to leave and re-enter.
? Those 25 and under will have to fill out a Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection Liquor Control Division Age Statement Form, certifying that you are 21 years of age or older.
