The lucky winning Powerball ticket was sold at the Prospect Smoke Shop in Prospect located in New Haven County, according to Lottery officials.

But the fun is not over yet, Lottery officials said: "it's crazy at the office" as the country waits in anticipation for this week's Mega Million worth over $1.6 billion.

With no ticket matching all of the winning numbers Saturday - 16-54-57-62-69 PB-23 PP-2- is worth $620 million, lottery officials said.

Of course, we all know the odds of winning are pretty slim and have heard all the comparisons like you're more likely to be struck by lightning or be eaten by a shark, but, hey it's still fun to dream.  But here they are anyway: The odds of winning Mega Millions are about one in 302 million and the odds of winning Powerball are one in 292.2 million.

But, it only costs a couple of bucks to play, so why not take the chance when there is a chance to win over a $1 billion.

The next Mega Million is Tuesday, Oct. 23, and the next Powerball is Wednesday, Oct. 24.
