Chef Judith Roll Embraces A New Restaurant Concept In Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. -- American comfort foods like smoked brisket, ribs, chicken wings and fried chicken are the mainstay of newly-opened Judy's Bar & Kitchen in Stamford.

Its owner, chef Judith Roll, opened her Middle Eastern restaurant, Tabouli Grill in Stamford in 2009, bringing grilled meat kabobs, shawarma, salads, hummus, tabouli, baba ghanoush, chicken schnitzel, and falafel to a robust restaurant scene.

Its sister location in Southport since 2011 has closed.

Roll's energy will now focus on Judy's Bar & Kitchen, where a varied menu boasts such desserts as North Carolina lemon tart, pecan pie, and chocolate peanut butter cake.

Wines on tap, an extensive beer selections, and craft cocktails round out the menu.

In warm weather Judy's will open its large patio for outside dining.

Judy's Bar & Kitchen is located at 927 High Ridge Road, Stamford.
