"A Clockwork Orange" is a 1971 dystopian crime film based on a novella by Anthony Burgess. Protagonist Alex DeLarge is an "ultraviolent" youth in futuristic Britain who leads a gang of “droogs” that go around at night committing crimes.

Eventually he's arrested and convicted of murder and rape. Two years into his 14-year prison sentence, Alex learns of an experimental program called the Ludovico Technique in which convicts are reprogrammed to detest violence. In order to have his sentence reduced, he volunteers for the experimental aversion therapy, which was developed by the government in an effort to solve society's crime problem, but not all goes according to plan.

The film is rated R, and its running time is 137 minutes.
